Long, long ago, in a land far away, there lived a kind and gentle man named Valentine.

Valentine was known for his warm heart and helping hands. He believed that love was one of the greatest gifts people could share. To Valentine, love was not just about romance — it was about caring for others, helping friends, and being kind even when it was hard.

Every day, Valentine helped people who were sad, lonely, or afraid. He listened to their stories and reminded them that they mattered. He believed that love could make people brave and bring hope to dark times.

At that time, the world was not always kind. Some leaders did not believe love was important. But Valentine did not stop sharing kindness. He believed that love should never be hidden.

So many years later, people chose a winter day — February 14th — to celebrate Valentine and everything he stood for. They made it a day to remind one another that love warms hearts, even on the coldest days.

Today, Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world.

It is a day when children give cards to classmates, families share hugs, and friends show they care. It is not about how big a gift is — it is about sharing love in simple ways.
